I'd probably use it but (a) it needs some preventative maintenance to prevent screen damage and I haven't had the courage yet to do the disassembly required to do that and (b) exchanging files with a modern computer is a little inconvenient. I also have an eMate 300 with a 480x320 screen resolution. I did a lot of work on that machine-writing, newsletters, design work, etc. My first laptop was a PowerBook 180c with an 8.4" screen at 640x480 resolution. For writing, the only real consideration for screen size is what your eyes are comfortable with.
